ACCOUNTING CLERK:A CAREER FOR THOSE WHO LOVE NUMBERS

WHAT DOES AN ACCOUNTING CLERK DO?
In a typical day, youll be excited to start the day with a coffee in-hand, energized and ready to tackle the finance world alongside your finance team. You will match supplier invoices to purchase orders and receiving slips, and will be diligent in investigating discrepancies. You will enter supplier invoices into payables software. We need to pay supplier invoices and take advantage of early payment discounts where applicable, thats your deal as well. Our staff really appreciate being reimbursed for their expenses, youll be their best friend in this regard too.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO I NEED FOR THIS ROLE
- Completion of high school as well as Business Administration Diploma or 3+ years of relevant accounting exp.
- Focus on accuracy, attention to detail
- Experience MS Office applications
- Experience with computer based accounting software (Sage) an asset, but not required
