<p>We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our team and manage internal control processes through year-end. This is a critical role due to anticipated internal changes in the second half of next year. After this period, the position will transition into a core accounting function within the team.</p>
<p>This role requires strong critical thinking skills, as it involves less routine work and more risk management responsibilities for the first 6-8 months. You will work closely with internal auditors and multiple stakeholders, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting. This is a contract to hire opportunity where you will be required to go into the office in Downtown Toronto 5 days/week.</p>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Big 4 audit firm experience (3 year term)</li>
<li>Minimum 4+ years of experience in total, including 2+ years in Canadian industry.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and risk management.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.</li>
<li>Immediate availability and willingness to work on-site in Toronto (5 days/week).</li>
</ul>
<h3>Nice to Have Skills & Experience</h3>
<p>Experience with Blackline or SAP is an asset (not required).</p></p>
