Help us collect every dollar we've earned.
We're looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to take ownership of revenue cycle management for our busy dental clinics in Calgary. If you know dental billing, understand insurance, and have hands-on experience with Cleardent and Akitu1, we want to meet you.

About the Role:
You will manage the full revenue cycle, including:
  • Managing accounts receivable and keeping aging under control.
  • Submitting and following up on insurance claims and predeterminations.
  • Posting EOBs and reconciling insurance and patient payments.
  • Identifying and correcting billing errors; resubmitting denied/rejected claims.
  • Preparing and sending patient statements; answering patient billing questions.
  • Monitoring AR and aging reports, tracking outstanding balances, escalating when needed.
  • Working closely with the front desk, treatment coordinators, and management to improve billing processes and cash flow.

You will support a Cleardent practice and an Akitu1 practice, so familiarity with these systems is a must.

What We're Looking For:
  • Location: Able to work on-site in Calgary, Alberta.
  • Mandatory: Experience with Cleardent and Akitu1 (or very strong PMS experience plus proven ability to learn quickly).
  • 2–3+ years of accounts receivable / billing experience, ideally in dental or medical.
  • Strong understanding of dental insurance, EDI submissions, EOBs, write-offs, and adjustments.
  • High accuracy with numbers and excellent attention to detail.
  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable working with targets and timelines.
  • Professional, clear communication with patients, insurers, and team members.

What We Offer:
  • Stable full-time position in a growing Calgary dental group.
  • Opportunity to own the AR and revenue cycle and see the impact of your work.
  • Supportive, professional team environment.
  • Competitive compensation based on experience.
