<p><h3>Candidate Profile Details:</h3><ul><li>Degree/Certifications Required: CAMS, CSCS</li><li>Years of Overall Experience: 8 to 10 years of relevant exp</li><li>Preferred Candidate Background: EDD workstream experience, regulatory reporting experience, De- marketing</li><li>How will performance be measured: Quality of work, outputs in the role</li><li>Selling Points of Position (CVP): Long term role, high chance of conversion to FTE (dependent on performance) and contract extension.</li></ul><h3>Summary Of Day-To-Day Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Quality checks, EDD cases</li><li>Will be assigned work monthly, going through each case and ensuring completion according to FIU job aids and procedures</li><li>Ad-hoc activities, ( special projects) – will be similar tasks related to project based work</li></ul><h3>Key Accountabilities:</h3><ul><li>Perform QA checks on case files related to new accounts and ongoing account reviews for existing high risk customers, obtain, analyze, review, and verify information for high risk individual and business</li><li>Perform QA checks on case files related to EDD clients including but not limited to: business activity and nature of business, ownership structure including controlling interests and beneficial ownership</li><li>Perform QA Research anticipated or actual volume and types of transactions, including those transactions involving higher-risk jurisdictions</li><li>Perform a quality check on broad range of money laundering investigation related activities in support of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Anti-Terrorist Financing (ATF) regulations designed to detect and report on financial-related crimes</li><li>Evaluate ML/TF risk, by conducting quality check on cases/alerts as part of the controls of Client’s AML and ATF program</li><li>Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts</li><li>Evaluate potentially suspicious account activity. Recognize and evaluate accounts and activity and effectively document recommendations regarding account retention and/or regulatory reporting obligations</li><li>Provide trend analysis of AML/ATF findings and gaps to Management for review</li><li>Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite</li><li>Manage ambiguity and apply judgement to identify, troubleshoot and resolve ongoing business and operational issues</li><li>Assist the qc function with developing/drafting and maintaining written policies, procedures and/or programs/frameworks to minimize compliance breaches and monitor adherence to applicable regulations/ requirement</li><li>Prioritize and manage own workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity</li><li>Represent as a project lead on projects / initiatives and/or at meetings across the organization</li><li>Serve as a subject matter expert in a quality control function and serve as knowledge and process expert to others</li><li>Effectively work independently with minimal supervision within a team environment to complete a common goal and prioritize daily workload to meet department objectives</li><li>Adhere to the team policy and procedures to ensure that work is properly documented</li><li>Ability to lead and positively influence others</li><li>Contribute to the success of the team by willingly assisting others in the completion and performance of work activities</li><li>Perform additional duties and participate in special projects as required</li></ul><h3>Department Overview:</h3><ul><li>The Client Global AML department is accountable for establishing Client’s Global Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing Program (AML/ATF) to ensure that all Client businesses adhere with AML/ATF regulatory expectations in all jurisdictions where Client operates.</li><li>This includes setting consistent standards across business segments that may be further tailored to specific business or jurisdictional requirements; conducting annual enterprise-wide AML risk assessments; maintaining the Global AML Policy (including Know Your Customer and Enhanced Due Diligence, record keeping & retention requirements); currency transaction and suspicious transaction monitoring and reporting; screening Client customers against regulatory watch lists; a hierarchy of designated AML officer functions; enterprise-wide and specialized AML training of employees; and independent AML testing. In the FIU, we conduct detection, investigation, and reporting for the money laundering program.</li></ul><h3>Shareholder:</h3><ul><li>Prioritize and manage own workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity</li><li>Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalate issues where appropriate</li><li>Protect the interests of the organization identify and manage risks, and escalate non-standard, high-risk transactions / activities as necessary</li><li>Comply with applicable internal and external audit and regulatory requirements and may actively participate in Audit Reviews, providing recommendations and guidance as required</li></ul><h3>Customer:</h3><ul><li>The business internally as a specialist of a given area in AML/ATF, Sanctions/ABAC matters</li><li>Conduct sound investigations and provide AML/ATF, Sanctions/ABAC, support and recommendations on AML/BSA, Sanctions and ABAC investigations</li></ul><h3>Employee/Team:</h3><ul><li>Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest</li><li>Support the team by continuously enhancing knowledge / expertise in own area and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unit</li><li>Keep current on emerging trends/ developments and grow knowledge of the business, related tools and techniques</li><li>Participate in personal performance management and development activities, including cross training within own team</li><li>Keep others informed and up-to-date about the status / progress of projects and / or all relevant or useful information related to day-to-day activities</li><li>Guided by practices, procedures and operating plans, makes process and capacity management decisions to ensure ongoing operations</li></ul><h3>Inclusiveness:</h3><ul><li>At Client, we are committed to fostering an inclusive, accessible environment, where all employees and customers feel valued, respected and supported.
