<p>Assistant Operations Manager – Edmonton</p><p>YourKey Rental Management</p><p>We are expanding to Edmonton and are looking for a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Operations Manager. This role combines short-term rental (STR) care with building cleaning, basic maintenance, and occasional property showings.</p><p>This position is ideal for someone who is trustworthy, hands-on, and eager to grow with us. You will be the key person on the ground in Edmonton, ensuring our properties are guest-ready, safe, and well-maintained.</p><p>The Role</p><p>As an Assistant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the cleaning, organization, general maintenance, and supply replenishment of properties in Edmonton. You will also support operations by inspecting properties for damage, troubleshooting issues, assisting with showings, and ensuring all guest-related needs are handled smoothly.</p><p>This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, independence, and initiative. We are looking for someone dependable, proactive, and excited about being the face of YourKey Rental Management in Edmonton.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Perform general and deep cleaning tasks for STR units and common areas.</li><li>Maintain property standards and ensure homes are guest-ready.</li><li>Report and coordinate maintenance or repair needs.</li><li>Carry out basic handyman/maintenance tasks (tightening, replacing batteries, small fixes).</li><li>Maintain and replenish inventory of supplies.</li><li>Inspect properties for damages and ensure electronics (locks, sensors, etc.) are charged and functional.</li><li>Conduct occasional property showings or owner walkthroughs.</li><li>Follow safety guidelines and procedures.</li><li>Work independently while communicating promptly with the Calgary operations team.</li></ul><p>Skills & Qualities</p><ul><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.</li><li>Handy-person/maintenance skills (basic tools, troubleshooting, small repairs).</li><li>Reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated.</li><li>Able to manage time and tasks without supervision.</li><li>Comfortable working with technology (apps, locks, smart devices).</li><li>Physically capable (lifting, moving furniture, repetitive tasks).</li><li>Strong communication and problem-solving skills.</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Valid Canadian driver's licence and clean driving record (preferred).</li><li>Available primarily between 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (with flexibility for showings or special tasks).</li><li>1+ year of cleaning or property care experience (required).</li><li>Ability to pass a clean criminal background check.</li><li>English fluency (spoken & written).</li><li>Vehicle available for work (preferred).</li></ul><p>We Offer</p><ul><li>Flexible schedule.</li><li>Casual dress & supportive team culture.</li><li>Opportunity for growth with a growing company.</li><li>Additional hours available for strong performers.</li></ul><p>Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent</p><p>Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour</p><p>Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week</p><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>Create Your Resume First
