<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>Join to apply for the <b>Assistant Store Manager - Muskoka</b> role at <b>Canna Cabana</b>.</p><p>Our retail <b>Assistant Store Manager (ASM)</b> is vital to delivering a distinctive shopping experience. The ASM collaborates with the Store Manager (SM) and company management to manage, maintain and supervise day-to-day retail operations at the store location.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Motivate and inspire team members to be positive, friendly, knowledgeable, and hardworking.</li><li>Support the SM and team members, providing positive and constructive feedback for professional growth.</li><li>Support the SM and all team members on work procedures and policies to ensure everyone understands what is required to do a great job.</li><li>Follow written SOPs with policy or regulatory changes and ensure compliance among the team.</li><li>Be accessible and responsive to team members\' questions, suggestions, and concerns; help resolve conflicts.</li><li>Lead by example and work with staff to handle circumstances in a high-volume retail store.</li></ul><h3>Sales and Customer Service</h3><ul><li>Use customer and team feedback to implement changes that improve the customer experience.</li><li>Track all employee and store sales daily to ensure optimal performance.</li></ul><h3>Daily Store Operations</h3><ul><li>Maintain store compliance with local, state and federal regulations; organize and communicate required reporting and records.</li><li>Assist SM with inventory, sales, and compliance audits.</li><li>Perform daily opening and closing procedures.</li><li>Ensure the sales floor is adequately stocked at all times.</li><li>Coordinate with management to perform daily/monthly/yearly inventory audits and reconciliations.</li><li>Log and dispose of expired/damaged/returned product according to regulations.</li><li>Assist in receiving and ensure that AGCO/wholesale deliveries are compliant and accurate against invoices.</li><li>Provide daily correspondence via email and manager\'s log with the team as needed.</li><li>Comply with all HR policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosures.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment.</li><li>CannSell license from AGCO; clean criminal background check.</li><li>4-5+ years of retail management experience.</li><li>Possess or obtain Cannabis Retail Manager License from AGCO within the first month of employment.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience managing in a unionized environment.</li><li>Knowledge of Cannabis plants, strains, and AGCO standards for Cannabis retail stores.</li><li>Knowledge of local and state laws and regulations pertaining to retail Cannabis.</li><li>Achievement-oriented, hardworking, organized, flexible and empathetic; detail-oriented and proactive.</li><li>Excellent leadership and management skills; strong time management, prioritization, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; entrepreneurial, collaborative, and positive attitude.</li><li>Knowledgeable about the cannabis industry and its policies and laws.</li><li>Ability to work nights, holidays, weekends, and at different locations.</li></ul><h3>Why You Should Apply</h3><ul><li>The opportunity to work for a growing company positioned to become a globally recognized brand in the cannabis industry.</li><li>Significant opportunity for growth, experience and learning.</li><li>Unlimited bonus earning potential.</li></ul><h3>Additional points</h3><p>The job posting reflects the general details considered necessary to describe the principal functions and duties for proper evaluation.
