This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about dentistry, particularly in pediatrics, and is eager to contribute to a thriving practice.<br /><br />*Duties*<br /><br />* Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatric care.<br />* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.<br />* Utilize dental software such as Dentrix and Epic for patient management, record keeping, and treatment documentation.<br />* Provide preventative care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.<br />* Conduct restorative procedures including fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions as needed.<br />* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.<br />* Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient workflow within the office.<br />* Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development.<br /><br />*Qualifications*<br /><br />* Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.<br />* Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.<br />* Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred; familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.<br />* Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix and Epic is highly desirable.<br />* Experience or interest in pediatric dentistry is an advantage.<br />* Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for restorative procedures is beneficial.<br />* Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.<br />* Commitment to providing compassionate care while maintaining high professional standards.
