Join our team and become part of an organization that values people, performance, and community.<strong></strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong></p><p></p><p>We are looking for an <strong>Automotive Journeyman Technician </strong>to join our team at<strong> Country Hills Volkswagen. </strong>The successful candidate is someone<strong> </strong>who is passionate about the automotive industry and eager to contribute to our growing team.</p><p></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Maintaining a high quality of workmanship, diagnostics and maintenance repair as per required standards.</li><li>Performing new vehicle Pre-delivery inspection (PDI) to factory standards.</li><li>Reporting all mechanical or safety related deficiencies not noted on the repair order.</li><li>Referring to images and/or videos provided by the customer or service advisor to assist in identifying repairs needed.</li><li>Performing road tests to identify issues and subsequently confirms repairs are completed to a satisfactory level.</li><li>Providing service advisors with a summary of additional maintenance and/or required work that needs to be performed.</li><li>Providing service advisors with accurate parts and labour estimates through utilizing our dealership software.</li><li>Accurately recording the cause and correction of the issue in our dealership software on customer repair orders.</li><li>Completing the Technician portion and related inspection forms.</li><li>Maintaining and follows manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>ABOUT YOU</strong></p><ul><li>Automotive Service Technician Trade certification.
