<p>About Us<br><br>Lafayette Group of Companies runs 11 facilities, including food processing factories, restaurants, and bakery stores. Our factories supply products to airlines, supermarkets, and restaurant chains.</p><p>Job Summary</p><p>We are seeking an experienced B2B Sales Manager to pioneer and build our sales team from the ground up. As the first employee in the sales department, this standalone role requires a self-starter who can develop sales strategies, establish processes, and drive revenue growth in the B2B food processing and supply sector. Reporting directly to senior leadership, the B2B Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and expanding our market presence with airlines, supermarkets, and restaurant chains to support overall company profitability and expansion.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Develop and implement B2B sales strategies to target key clients in airlines, supermarkets, restaurant chains, and other wholesale partners.</li><li>Prospect, qualify, and close new business deals, including negotiating contracts and pricing for food products and supplies.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions from our food processing portfolio.</li><li>Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales data to identify growth opportunities and optimize sales performance.</li><li>Establish sales processes, pipelines, and reporting systems as the foundational member of the sales team, with potential to recruit and lead future team members.</li><li>Collaborate with operations, production, and finance teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and alignment with company goals.</li><li>Track and report on sales metrics, forecasts, and KPIs to guide decision-making and achieve revenue targets.</li><li>Other duties as assigned by senior leadership.</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in the food industry, manufacturing, or supply chain, with proven ability to operate independently and build sales functions from scratch.</li><li>Experience in worked in major retailers, food distributors in this region.</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced certifications in sales or business development are preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, particularly in selling to airlines, supermarkets, or restaurant chains.</li><li>Strong knowledge of B2B sales methodologies, contract negotiation, and market analysis.</li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.</li><li>Fluent in English; proficiency in Cantonese/Mandarin is an asset.</li></ul><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Pay: From $45,000.00 per year</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>On-site parking</li></ul><p>Application question(s):</p><ul><li>Linkedin Profile Link</li><li>What major retailers and food distributors have you previously worked with in your sales experience?</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>B2B sales: 3 years (required)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
