Business System Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Systems Analyst with specialized experience in vendor onboarding, particularly within a Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) framework or system. The ideal candidate will act as a vital liaison between business stakeholders (Risk, Finance, Treasury, Procurement) and IT teams to analyze, document, and facilitate the integration of new vendor data, services, and processes into our QRM and related ecosystems. Your expertise will ensure that vendor onboarding enhances our risk management capabilities while maintaining data integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably in financial services (Banking, Asset Management, Insurance).
- Proven, hands‑on experience with vendor onboarding projects, with a strong preference for experience related to Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) systems, platforms, or processes.
- Solid understanding of financial instruments, risk concepts (market risk, credit risk), and related data (market data, counterparty data).
- Expertise in requirements gathering techniques, process modeling, and creating detailed system documentation.
- Strong data analysis skills, including SQL proficiency for data querying and validation.
- Experience with system integration methods (APIs, ETL) and data mapping.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
