Job Overview
We are excited to welcome a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to our team at Revive Smiles.
This position is initially to cover time off in December, with the possibility of continuing as a full-time role for the right candidate.
The ideal applicant is HARP-certified, has experience assisting with surgical procedures (especially implants), and feels comfortable using digital intraoral scanners. However, we also encourage enthusiastic, quick learners who are eager to grow in a supportive, surgery-focused dental environment to apply.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental implant surgeries and general procedures
- Assist the dentist during surgical and routine dental treatments
- Take and process X-rays (HARP certification required)
- Perform intraoral scanning for impressions and treatment planning
- Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols
- Organize and manage surgical instruments and supplies
- Provide post-op instructions and ensure a positive patient experience
- Accurately chart and record clinical information
Qualifications
- HARP Certification (required)
- Experience in surgical dentistry and/or dental implants preferred
- Familiarity with digital scanners (Trios, iTero,Shinning 3D etc.) is an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Familiarity with dental software is a plus
