<p><b>Overview</b></p><p>We are seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Law Clerk with a minimum of five years of dedicated practice to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional legal drafting skills, along with a strong understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure and experience with modern Ontario court platforms, including CaseLines and the Justice Services Online (JSO) portal.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Duties</b></p><ul><li>Oversee and organize complex litigation files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and timelines are strictly followed.</li><li>Draft, review, and revise legal documents including pleadings, motions, and correspondence with precision and clarity.</li><li>Manage electronic filings via the JSO portal and organize digital hearing bundles for CaseLines.</li><li>Assist in preparing discovery requests, responses, and manage document review processes.</li><li>Provide administrative support which includes (but is not limited to) completing file opening forms, photocopying, scanning and filing.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Minimum of five years' experience working in Canada as a civil litigation law clerk or paralegal.</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in legal drafting, document review, and case analysis skills.</li><li>Familiarity with litigation procedures, court rules, and document management systems.</li><li>Excellent writing skills with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.</li><li>Experience in mortgage enforcement considered a strong asset.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Salary</b></p><p>$70,000+ depending on your experience and skills.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Job Type</b></p><p>Full-time, permanent</p><p><br></p><p><b>Benefits</b></p><ul><li>Casual dress</li><li>Company events</li><li>Dental care</li><li>Extended health care</li><li>On-site parking</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Work Location</b></p><p>In person, Vaughan</p>Create Your Resume First
