Job Description Summary

We are currently seeking experienced commercial cleaning subcontractors, ideally teams of two or more, for a single Sunday evening location in Ottawa.

This contract is suitable for established cleaning businesses or owner-operators already working in the field who wish to add a consistent weekly account.

Shifts Available for Part-Time Positions:

Shift Details

• Monday evenings only
  

• Approx. 3 hours per shift
  

• Ideal add-on for teams with regular daytime work or other evening contracts
  

Preferred Background

Experience in the following is considered beneficial:

• Restaurant / front-of-house cleaning
  

• Commercial janitorial work
  

• Light floor care equipment operation
  

Subcontractor Requirements

To be eligible, subcontractors must have:

• Valid commercial liability insurance
  

• Registered business number (sole proprietorship or corporation)
  

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  

• Ability to supply basic cleaning equipment
  

• Existing regular work (this contract cannot be your only income source)
  

• A mobile phone capable of using basic cleaning/inspection apps
  

• Willingness to sign a Subcontractor Agreement and Non-Solicitation Agreement
  

Scope of Work – Typical Duties

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and maintain hard floor surfaces
  

• Moving of tables and chairs to specific setup required

• Vacuum entrance mats and runner carpets (especially during winter months)
  

• Clean and disinfect restrooms; restock paper and soap supplies
  

• Wipe windowsills, interior glass, and entrance door glass
  

• Spot-clean walls, doors, and partition glass as required
  

• Clean baseboards as assigned
  

• Move small tables and clean underneath when necessary
  

• Empty and re-line waste and recycling bins
  

• Collect garbage and transport to designated disposal point
  

• Report maintenance or cleanliness issues (e.g., clogged fixtures)
  

• Other related cleaning tasks as required
  

Requirements
