*Job Overview*<br />We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Unloader to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the shipping and receiving process, ensuring that products are unloaded, organized, and prepared for distribution. This position requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various warehouse equipment.<br />*Responsibilities*<br />* Safely load and unload materials from trucks and containers using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks.<br />* Accurately pick orders and ensure proper documentation for shipping and receiving.<br />* Maintain organization of the warehouse by properly storing products in designated areas.<br />* Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance.<br />* Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to streamline processes and improve efficiency in materials handling.<br />* Assist in inventory management by conducting regular counts and reporting discrepancies.<br />* Follow all safety protocols while operating heavy equipment and performing heavy lifting tasks.<br />*Requirements*<br />* Previous experience in warehouse distribution or similar roles is preferred.<br />* Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse management systems is a plus.<br />* Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely is a big plus.<br />* Mechanical knowledge to assist with basic maintenance of warehouse equipment.<br />* Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures.<br />* Physically fit and experience with materials handling, including heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).<br />* Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a leadership role is advantageous but not required.<br />* A proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork is essential for success in this role.
