Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in North York, Ontario. In this long-term contract role, you will oversee essential financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all reporting and auditing processes. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with extensive experience in financial accounting and consolidation.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the consolidation of financial data across 10-15 entities to ensure accurate reporting.
• Manage the month-end close process, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate audits and address inquiries.
• Ensure adherence to financial policies and compliance requirements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and inform strategic decision-making.
• Support the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts.
• Implement improvements to financial processes for increased efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide guidance and training to team members on financial best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management and reporting.
• Proven expertise in month-end close processes and accrual accounting.
