This is an opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and help shape operational and financial strategy.</p><p>As <strong>Controller</strong>, you&#39;ll oversee the day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and drive continuous improvement in processes, systems, and controls. You&#39;ll play a key role in supporting the company&#39;s growth through strong financial stewardship and business partnering.<br><br>Location - Hamilton, Ontario</p><hr /><br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br><ul><li><p>Oversee full-cycle accounting (GL, AP, AR, payroll, tax remittances, fixed assets, reconciliations).</p></li><li><p>Lead monthly financial close and reporting, including variance analysis and KPI tracking.</p></li><li><p>Develop and maintain cost accounting, cash flow forecasting, and inventory control.</p></li><li><p>Partner with operations and engineering to support project budgets and cost tracking.</p></li><li><p>Manage insurance, banking, and audit relationships.</p></li><li><p>Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and year-end preparation.</p></li><li><p>Supervise and support a small finance/admin team.</p></li><li><p>Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reporting accuracy.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with all financial and regulatory requirements.</p></li></ul><hr /><br><br>Qualifications<br><br><ul><li><p>CPA designation (or equivalent) strongly preferred.</p></li><li><p>5-10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including leadership.</p></li><li><p>Strong technical skills in ERP/accounting systems and Excel.</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to lead financial reporting, budgeting, and operational support.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.</p></li></ul></p></p>
