Job Description
<p>Position Summary:</p><p>Reporting to the Director, Customer Insights, the Customer Insights Analyst will provide category management expertise, analysis and insights for the Retail Sales organization. They will be responsible to develop strategies to protect our existing business, improve current business, and deliver future opportunities through improved distribution, visibility, and increasing rate of sale. </p><p>Key Accountabilities:</p><ul><li>Design and maintenance of Excel-based templates and reports;</li><li>Management of product databases, encompassing SKU coding, data entry, and updates;</li><li>Monthly refresh of various sales reports in Excel using Nielsen and Retailer POS data;</li><li>Delivering commentaries and sales analysis for monthly business review reports, pro-actively identifying business opportunities and issues;</li><li>Leading the development of retailer specific category reviews, assortment analysis, new listing stories and promotional evaluations, under tight timelines;</li><li>Leverage Category Management Principles to create concise and easy to understand insights from multiple data sources;</li><li>Training members of the sales and marketing teams on data systems (Retailer POS, Nielsen)</li></ul><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>3-5 years of progressive and related work experience, preferably within the CPG industry;</li><li>University degree or College Diploma in Marketing Research and/or Business, Economics or Statistics;</li><li>Advanced MS Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, report automation;</li><li>Working knowledge of Nielsen MarketTrack, Nielsen Discover, Numerator Insights;</li><li>Proficient in the use of Retailer POS (LDIA, Circana, SPS Commerce, Dunnhumby, Retail Link);</li><li>Experience with Power BI an asset;</li><li>Excellent English written and oral communication skills;</li><li>This role emphasizes attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills</li></ul><p><em>Sofina Foods Inc. is committed to providing accessible employment practices that are in compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act ('AODA').
