<p>Overview</p><p>STRICTLY TWO YEARS OF CANADIAN DENTAL EXPERIENCE NEEDED</p><p>We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented LEVEL 2 Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.</li><li>Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling.</li><li>Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.</li><li>Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.</li><li>Manage inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering when necessary.</li><li>Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations within the practice.</li><li>Perform administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and patient check-in/check-out.</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred; however, we welcome candidates eager to learn.</li><li>Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment is essential.</li><li>Familiarity with dental software such as OPENDENTAL is a plus.</li><li>Experience in pediatrics or orthodontics is advantageous but not required.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.</li><li>Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.</li><li>Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant training is preferred.</li></ul><p>Join our team and contribute to creating healthy smiles in a supportive environment</p><p>Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent</p><p>Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Dental care</li><li>On-site parking</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>Dental assisting: 2 years (required)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
