<p>Overview<br><br>We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. This position requires a blend of clinical skills and excellent interpersonal abilities, as you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient interactions, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.</li><li>Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.</li><li>Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.</li><li>Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Oryx.</li><li>Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the dental office.</li></ul><p>Experience</p><ul><li>Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred; however, candidates with relevant training may be considered.</li><li>Familiarity with dental software systems such as Oryx is advantageous.</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.</li><li>Experience in pediatrics or orthodontics is a plus but not required.</li><li>Skills in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) may be helpful for certain procedures.</li><li>Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.</li></ul><p>Licence/Certification:</p><ul><li>Certified Dental Assistant - Level One (required)</li><li>HARP Certificate (required)</li></ul><p>If you are passionate about dental health and providing exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
