About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Director of IT Operations and Security to lead our IT support and cybersecurity functions while driving innovation and operational excellence. This role focuses on delivering exceptional technology services, managing vendors and budgets, and introducing AI-driven solutions to empower internal teams.


Key Responsibilities:

IT Operations & Service Delivery

  • Oversee Help Desk and end-user support for Windows environments.
  • Experience with Apple devices is a strong plus.
  • Ensure efficient ticket resolution, escalation processes, and knowledge management.
  • Define and monitor KPIs and SLAs for service performance.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Implement and maintain robust security frameworks to safeguard company assets.
  • Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Vendor & Financial Management

  • Manage relationships with technology vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee IT expense management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Drive cost-effective acquisition of technology services and solutions.

Innovation & Emerging Technologies

  • Lead initiatives to integrate AI-driven technologies and applications that enhance internal productivity.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization using advanced tools.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Mentor and develop a high-performing IT team.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
  • Proven expertise in IT operations, cybersecurity, vendor management, and budgeting.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows environments and enterprise technology services.
  • Experience with Apple devices is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred Certifications:

  • CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certifications.
  • ITIL or similar service management certification.
