We are looking for a Director, PMO to join CI Investment Services Inc. and lead the delivery of key business solutions and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a solid foundation in project management, stakeholder engagement, and Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies. This role requires a strong leader who can guide cross-functional teams, oversee project timelines, and ensure that technical execution aligns with business objectives.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • Lead medium to large projects from initiation through implementation.

  • Define project scope, objectives and deliverables that support business and technical requirements in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

  • Develop detailed project plans, resource plans and communication materials.

  • Manage cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability and clear communication.

  • Drive issue resolution and remove obstacles to maintain project progress.

  • Plan, schedule and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.

  • Prepare and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.

  • Establish reporting cadence; analyze status reports and address issues as they arise.

  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

  • Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING 

  • 5-7 years of hands-on project management experience across all phases of delivery. 
  • Knowledge of financial markets, broker-dealer operations, and custody processes.
  • PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification strongly preferred. 
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence without authority. 
  • Ability to work independently, and collaboratively in a team environment. 
  • Proven capability to manage shifting priorities and timelines using strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Experience with data conversions and onboarding new clients, ensuring accurate migration and seamless transition. 
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to proactively review trends in project activity and forecast any potential issues and risks to the project delivery dates. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. 
  • Strong proficiency with MS Project, Office 365 and Atlassian software (Confluence and Jira). 
  • Exceptional organization skills.

This opportunity is for an existing vacancy with the company. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $93,000 - $143,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a bonus program. In addition, The Company offers a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, wellness programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education-related programs, paid holidays and vacation time, and many others. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
