Job Description
Our client, a distinguished After School childcare company located in various locations in North Calgary is seeking Early Childhood Educators to join their team.Responsibilities:
- Provide a daily balance of active/quiet, indoor/outdoor, and individual/group activities.
- Ensure childcare regulations are adhered to.
- Lead children's activities and observe child development and progress.
- Foster positive relationships and communication with parents and caregivers.
- Support structured programs while creating safe and engaging environments for the children.
- Work closely with other educators and childcare staff to create a productive learning environment.
- Light cleaning and other administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children.
- A positive, enthusiastic, patient attitude with the ability interact with children in an encouraging, and engaging manner.
- Self-starter who takes initiative to add to the classroom.
- Warm and caring individual who loves children.
- Must have completed the Alberta Level 1 Early Childhood Educator Certificate.
- A vulnerable sector check is required.
