In this role, you will: Maintain and troubleshoot existing test fixtures and equipment, as well as keeping documentation up-to-date Design and own the development of test fixtures and electrical cabinets from requirements to final product deployment, through part selection, implementation and validation Work closely with engineers across electrical, mechanical, firmware, testing, and manufacturing disciplines Document all the different stages of the design, including validation and troubleshooting Understand the product being manufactured, the testing requirements and the keep up with the schedules to meet Required skills and experience: Experience meeting UL508 requirements Minimum 3 years of demonstrable experience in Electrical design Experience with medium to high volume production environment Experience with Solidworks Electrical Experience with maintaining part libraries and managing small to large Bill of Materials Experience with EMC and electrical troubleshooting Proficiency with electrical testing tools, including scopes, network analyzers, etc. Desired skills: Experience with project management tools like Jira and Confluence Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent Experience with EV charging, Solar Energy and Battery systems is an asset Experience with one or more networking protocols, e.g.
