ENERGY MODELER, Vancouver
We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Energy Modeler to join its growing Mechanical Engineering team. Position Overview
Reporting to the Project Principal, the Energy Modeler will be responsible for developing and analyzing building energy models for a range of new construction and retrofit projects across commercial, institutional, and residential sectors. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, the successful candidate will help deliver integrated, data-driven, and sustainable design solutions.
Qualifications:
- Excellent English
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in building energy modeling or performance analysis.
- Registered with or eligible for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC).
- Proficiency in energy simulation software such as IES-VE, eQUEST, EnergyPlus, and RETScreen Expert.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
- A creative and curious mindset, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
- Valid driving license and access to reliable transportation.
