<p><p>We’re Hiring: Environmental Specialist – London, ON</p>
<h3>Position Summary:</h3>
<p>As the Environmental Specialist, you will manage audits, provide training, support incident investigations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure environmental excellence across the site.</p>
<h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Manage, maintain, and improve the site’s Environmental Management System (EMS)</li>
<li>Coordinate internal and external audits, inspections, and certification activities</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, reporting, and waste management programs</li>
<li>Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions</li>
<li>Provide environmental training and guidance to employees and contractors</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support Health & Safety initiatives</li>
</ul>
<h3>Education & Experience:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Post‑secondary education in <b>Environmental Science, Engineering, Technology, Sustainability</b>, or related field</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar environmental role</li>
<li>Certified or actively pursuing <b>Environmental Management System Lead Auditor</b> designation</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of provincial and federal environmental regulations</li>
<li>Health & Safety experience or certification is an asset</li>
</ul>
<h3>Skills & Competencies:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Advanced <b>Microsoft Office</b> skills, especially Excel</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication</li>
<li>Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and in a team</li>
<li>Professional, collaborative, and committed to continuous improvement</li>
