Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Human Resources or Financial Systems Analyst, the ERP Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing business processes and requirements to support enhancements to the Unit4 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and the SmartRecruiters Applicant Tracking System (ATS).


The incumbent performs the following duties:

Serves as the ERP and ATS system specialist by designing, configuring, testing, implementing and documenting system functionalities and system processes.
Reviews and analyzes business requirements to develop and implement system configurations that meet the needs of end-users and align with organizational and technical standards.
Analyzes current and future state business processes to translate business needs into ERP and ATS functionalities and process improvements that enhance the maturity of business analytics and system-driven decision making.
Provide end-user training and support to internal stakeholders to maximize system utilization, ensure data integrity, and improve overall system effectiveness.



Qualifications
Education


:


Post-secondary education in a field relevant to the position such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems OR an acceptable combination of education, training and relevant experience.
Experience :


Experience in ERP system implementation, configuration, and support, preferably within Human Resource and Finance modules.
Experience analyzing, documenting, and improving business processes with cross-functional teams.
Experience with system administration, process optimization, workflow automation, and end-user support.
Knowledge :



Knowledge of the principles, theories, standards and methodologies of business analysis including the ability to analyse, solve problems and propose solutions.
Knowledge of the methods and techniques of eliciting and understanding client requirements through various interview and solution-finding methods.
Knowledge of ERP system architecture, lifecycle, and core modules, particularly HR and Finance.
Knowledge of system configuration, testing, and documentation best practices.
Knowledge of business process mapping and workflow optimization principles.

Criteria :

Experience working in the Unit4 ERP system.
Experience working in the SmartRecruiters ATS.
Experience developing, configuring, or maintaining other types of systems (CRM – Customer Relationship Management, ATS – Applicant Tracking System, FMS – Financial Management System)
Experience applying user experience (UX) and accessibility design principles in system or process development.
Experience working with SQL Database.
Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Conditions of Employment :

Education and experience requirements will be used to determine which candidates will be asked to participate in the next stage of the selection process.


This selection process may include a second-language evaluation, a written exam, and an interview. The interview will consist of behavioural, situational and knowledge-based questions. Candidates will be required to pass each stage in order to move to the next stage of the selection process.

Qualified candidates from this selection process may be considered for determinate or indeterminate positions at the Library of Parliament that require similar knowledge and/or competencies.


Satisfactory references and proof of education are essential conditions of appointment.
