Family Law Clerk – 3+ Years
Location: North York, ON | In-person
Compensation: $50,000 – $75,000 annually
Talent Renew is partnering with a reputable North York-based family law boutique seeking an experienced Family Law Clerk to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled law clerk with strong knowledge of family law procedures and a client-focused approach.
About the Role
The successful candidate will provide support on a variety of family law matters, including separations, custody and access, child and spousal support, property division, and domestic agreements. You will work closely with lawyers, preparing documents, managing client files, and ensuring compliance with all procedural requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and manage family law documents using Leap and DivorceMate
- Ensure compliance with the Family Law Rules
- Maintain organized client files and manage deadlines
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff
- Provide administrative and legal support to lawyers in day-to-day family law matters
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Family Law Clerk or Legal Assistant
- Knowledge of Spanish or Farsi is required
- Proficiency with Leap, DivorceMate, and the Family Law Rules
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, client-focused attitude with attention to detail
