<p><b>Field Service Technician II CAN</b></p><p><b>3 Months -Contract to Hire </b></p><p><b>Work Location: Ottawa Ontario CAN K1G 4K1</b></p><p><br></p><p>Description:</p><p><br></p><p>This position requires a candidate who is bilingual in English & French.</p><p> </p><p> This position requires eligibility for a Top Secret level government security investigation.</p><p> </p><p> As a Field Technician II, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining laptop, desktop and printer support for end users and clients. A valid passport and drivers' license and vehicle are required. This role reports into the Field Services Manager.</p><p> </p><p> Responsibilities:</p><p> • Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals</p><p> • Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems</p><p> • Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.</p><p> • Identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed</p><p> • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.</p><p> • Performs a variety of complicated tasks</p><p> • Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required</p><p> </p><p> Basic tasks:</p><p> • Deskside software support</p><p> • High end printer and multi-function laser component level repair</p><p> • Server component level hardware repair and software restore</p><p> • Network device replacement/ configuration</p><p> • Basic network troubleshooting</p><p> • Smart Hands</p><p> </p><p> Qualifications:</p><p> • Requires experience in the field or in a related area; familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures</p><p> • Able to perform call-management in a Real-Time-Reporting environment</p><p> • Able to work independently & with limited supervision</p><p> • Excellent verbal & written skills</p><p> • Have good interpersonal and communication skills.</p><p> </p><p>Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
