<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: $120,000 to $130,000<br /><p>Employer: ITPS (Canada) Limited</p><p>Position: Flight Test Instrumentation Specialist</p><p>Terms of Employment: Full-time / Permanent</p><p>Location: London, Ontario</p><p>Employment Address: Ontario N5V 3Z9</p><p>Hours of Work: 40 hours/week</p><p>Language: English</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Eligible for discretionary bonuses and/or salary increases in accordance with company policy.</li><li>Company contributory medical top-up scheme/ group health and dental benefits after successfully completing a 3-month probationary period</li><li>Eligible for Employment Assistance Program</li><li>Eligible for basic life, AD&D insurance</li><li>Eligible for three weeks paid vacation annually</li><li>Eligible for travel insurance</li></ul><p>Salary: $ 120,000 to $ 130,000 CAD / year</p><p>Contact: Please send resumes to <span >melanie.obrien@itpscanada.com</span> and include Flight Test Instrumentation Specialist in the email subject line.</p><p><br><br></p><p>Duties: </p><ul><li>Defining instrumentation requirements in collaboration with test engineers and project managers</li><li>Designing signal conditioning, data acquisition, and sensor integration solutions</li><li>Preparing wiring diagrams, sensor lists, and instrumentation layouts</li><li>Supervising or performing the installation of sensors and data acquisition systems in compliance with airworthiness requirements</li><li>Calibrating sensors and verifying system accuracy before flight</li><li>Operating ground station and onboarding data systems during flight and ground tests</li><li>Monitoring real-time data and ensuring accurate logging and storage</li><li>Performing pre-flight and post-flight checks</li><li>Diagnosing and resolving instrumentation issues during test campaigns</li><li>Maintaining detailed records of instrumentation configurations, calibrations, and system health</li><li>Supporting regulatory compliance by documenting processes aligned with FAA, EASA, or Transport Canada guidelines</li><li>Ensuring all instrumentation practices meet safety standards</li><li>Participating in hazard analysis and flight test readiness reviews</li></ul><p><br><br></p><p>Requirements: </p><ul><li>Degree or diploma in electrical engineering, avionics, aerospace engineering, or a related field</li><li>5+ years experience with aircraft systems, flight test environments, and telemetry</li><li>Four years of on-the-job or company apprenticeship training is required</li><li>Knowledge of data acquisition systems such as IADS</li><li>Familiarity with environmental sensors, strain gauges, thermocouples, and pressure transducers</li><li>Ability to work in flightline and hangar environments with strong safety awareness</li><li>Instrumentation system availability and reliability during flight test campaigns</li><li>Ability to travel from time to time to service company requirements</li></ul></p></p>Create Your Resume First
