We are looking for a skilled Vinyl Plank Installer to join our dynamic team.<br />*Job Description:*<br />We are seeking an experienced Vinyl Plank/Hardwood Flooring Installer to handle residential and commercial flooring projects. This role involves installing vinyl plank flooring, ensuring it meets our high standards for quality and aesthetics.<br />*Responsibilities: *<br />- Measure and prepare surfaces for flooring installation.<br />- Accurately cut and fit vinyl planks to ensure a perfect fit.<br />- Install vinyl planks using appropriate adhesives, ensuring smooth seams and edges.<br />- Perform minor repairs and maintenance on existing vinyl flooring.<br />- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.<br />- Maintain cleanliness and organization at job sites.<br />- Follow safety protocols and use tools and equipment safely.<br />*Requirements: *<br />- Proven experience as a Vinyl Plank Installer or similar role.<br />- Understanding of different types of flooring and installation techniques.<br />- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.<br />- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.<br />- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job, including bending, kneeling, and lifting.<br />- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.<br />- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<br />- Availability for occasional evening or weekend work to meet project deadlines.<br />*Preferred Qualifications:*<br />- Experience with other types of flooring (e.G., laminate, hardwood) is a plus.<br />Job Types: Full-time, Part-time<br />Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour<br />Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week<br />Additional pay:<br />* Overtime pay<br />Schedule:<br />* Monday to Friday<br />* Weekends as needed<br />Ability to commute/relocate:<br />* Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)<br />Experience:<br />* Hardwood Installation: 1 year (preferred)<br />* Vinyl Plank: 1 year (preferred)<br />Language:<br />* English (preferred)<br />Location:<br />* Edmonton, AB (preferred)<br />Work Location: In person
