Position Summary

As a Freelance E-Commerce Copywriter at A Plus Creative, you will be responsible for developing compelling copy and creative ideas for integrated marketing campaigns, social media, video scripts, and various ad-hoc communications. Youll collaborate closely with the Creative Director, Art Directors, and Account Directors on a daily basis to craft copy for leading fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who delivers results, maintains clear communication with management, and adapts seamlessly to a dynamic, agile setting.

This freelance position offers flexibility and may evolve into a full-time opportunity based on performance. Candidates must have their own equipment and will have the option to work from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the creative team to ensure copy aligns with each clients brand guidelines and tone of voice.
• Generate multiple creative concepts for each client and project.
• Write and edit advertising copy across Email, Website, Social, Print, and other media channels.
• Take ownership of multiple client needs, managing priorities to meet deadlines without compromising quality.

Skills & Qualifications

• College or university degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Hands-on experience in retail or e-commerce copywriting is required.
• Agency or freelance background preferred.
• Strategic and conceptual thinker with a passion for storytelling.
• Demonstrated ability to write in multiple styles that are clear, concise, consistent, and consumer-friendly.
• Ability to adapt tone and style to reflect various audiences and platforms.
• Self-starter and team player with strong collaboration skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and projects.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office 365.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with fashion or accessories brands is a significant asset.
