Overview
We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling, exceptional customer service skills, and a professional attitude. Prior experience in hair styling and retail sales is preferred, along with strong communication skills to ensure client satisfaction.
Duties
- Provide a variety of hair services including cuts, color, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools to ensure client safety.
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles or products.
- Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client experience and salon revenue.
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and personalized care.
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and salon industry standards through ongoing education.
Skills
- Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio of work.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Ability to upsell products and services confidently without being pushy.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with clients and team members alike.
- Experience in retail sales within a salon setting is a plus.
