Heavy Equipment Technician
Job Description
MasterTech is on the search for experienced Mechanics (Heavy Equipment, Truck, Automotive) in Grimsby, ON.
The successful Mechanics will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a diverse line of specialized heavy equipment.
Compensation Package:
- $ $45.00/hour based on experience.
- Excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision, disability, vacation, paid time off, etc.
- 3 weeks paid vacation.
- RRSP with matching contributions.
Shift Schedule:
Day shift, 8:00AM to 4:30PM (Monday to Friday). Overtime available.
Key Qualifications:
- Apprentice or Journeyman level 421A, 310S, and/or 310T is preferred.
- Experience servicing various types/brands of heavy equipment (construction, earth moving, forestry, aerial, lift, etc.)
- Excellent understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Proficient with diagnostic software.
- MIG & Stick welding experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Own set of tools.
