Sold in over 60 international markets, Joseph Ribkoff is a global emblem of quality and elegance.</p><p>Montreal Corporate Head Office, where most of their employees are based, offers career opportunities in Design, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT and HR as well as in the Production and Warehousing facilities.</p><p>OBJECTIVE:<br><br>The Inventory Technician is responsible for analysis of inventory shortages, developing inventory strategies and fixing inventory issues within the Distribution Center.</p><p>RESPONSIBILITIES: </p><ul><li>Collect and analyze daily data relating to stock</li><li>Investigate any discrepancies between the quantities of items physically present in the warehouse and the inventory records</li><li>Organize parity bins to ensure efficiency in picking</li><li>Plan and coordinate semi and annual inventory counts, as well as daily cycle counts.</li><li>Monitor and update inventory locations</li><li>Develop and implement efficient inventory management procedures for regular stock and the samples.</li><li>Monitor inventory and transaction processing to accurately record inventory adjustments (serial deletion/serial reactivation/inventory movement/warehouse-transfer)</li><li>Contribute to the documentation of inventory procedures, ensuring that processes are well-documented and easily accessible to team members.</li><li>Handle all special requests for non-stock items.</li><li>Responsible for managing the inventory of marketing materials and promotional items.</li><li>Oversee the inventory move between JR warehouses and 3PL.</li><li>Support the back-to-stock team and returns</li><li>Monitor warehouse capacity and proactively plan the movement of goods to optimize storage space.</li><li>Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and develop action plans for relocation or disposal.</li><li>Coordinate the preparation, boxing, and transfer of dead stock to the secondary warehouse.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of all stock movements to ensure full traceability.</li><li>Any other general warehouse work that is required</li></ul><p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: </p><ul><li>Minimum 1 year of experience in a distribution center</li><li>High school diploma</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Organization and analytical skills</li><li>General Office Software knowledge, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>Demonstrate a team-oriented and positive attitude</li><li>Motivated</li></ul><p>Joseph Ribkoff is an equal opportunity at will employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of age, race, religion, color, disability, sex, sexual orientation or national origin.</p>Create Your Resume First
