FULL-TIME - MAINTENANCE POSITION (40 hrs)STOKES Janitorial & Maintenance is looking for Full-Time Maintenance for the Burlington and area.
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance & Repair Worker to perform & upkeep tasks, minor repairs, and building maintenance. You must be reliable, can work independently, and own a vehicle.
Job Description:
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Basic repairs throughout Co-op.
- Overseeing & greeting contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and contacting the appropriate trade to have them corrected.
- Performing minor fixes throughout buildings.
- Checking control panels (no electrical necessary).
- Check functionality & maintenance of safety systems.
- Report to facility managers any maintenance issues needing professional repairs.
Requirements:
- Experience in maintenance & repair areas.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and building automation systems.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read technical manuals.
- Good English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and dexterity.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A vehicle is a must.
