Whether you're solving problems, building systems, or shaping strategy, your work fuels real support for real people.</p><h3>The Job: Manager, Fraud Strategy</h3><p>The Manager, Fraud Strategy, will play a key role in developing, optimizing, and executing fraud prevention strategies across Momentum's consumer lending products. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on analytical execution – driving cross-functional initiatives, leading complex fraud projects, and team development. This role will be responsible for leveraging data analytics, industry insights, and fraud risk management expertise to design and implement strategies that effectively balance fraud mitigation, customer experience, and business growth.</p><h3>How You'll Make an Impact</h3><h3>Strategy Development & Implementation</h3><ul><li>Lead the design, testing, and implementation of fraud prevention and detection strategies across multiple products and channels.</li><li>Manage and optimize existing strategies effectively to address fraud risks including stolen/forged identity and malicious first-party intent.</li></ul><h3>Analytics & Risk Management</h3><ul><li>Leverage advanced analytics, fraud solutions, and business acumen to identify emerging fraud trends, mitigate losses, and balance customer experience with risk control.</li></ul><h3>Cross-Functional Collaboration</h3><ul><li>Collaborate closely with Credit Risk, Product, Ops, and IT to implement, monitor, and refine fraud strategies.</li><li>Partner with external fraud prevention vendors, supporting tool evaluation and performance monitoring.</li></ul><h3>Communication & Stakeholder Engagement</h3><ul><li>Deliver clear and actionable insights, findings, and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.</li></ul><h3>Leadership & Team Development</h3><ul><li>Foster continuous improvement and professional growth by sharing expertise, strengthening analytical capabilities, and supporting team development.</li></ul><h3>What You Bring</h3><ul><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.</li><li>Must have good business judgment with demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically.</li><li>Proficient in SQL programming skills and experienced with data visualization platforms such as Sigma and Tableau</li><li>Skilled in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.</li><li>Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.</li><li>Strong stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively, providing thought leadership and mentorship to team members.</li><li>Aptitude and willingness to roll-up the sleeves and get involved in the details.</li><li>Highly curious with the desire to go deep beneath the surface to solve problems.</li></ul><h3>Education + Experience</h3><ul><li>Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in a relevant field such as Decision Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or Economics.</li><li>5+ years of experience in fraud risk management focusing on strategy, implementation and launching fraud prevention and detection solutions for Fintech, Banking, or other e-commerce.</li><li>Proven track record in acquisition/origination fraud and credit management space.</li><li>Familiarity with 3rd-party Fraud prevention solutions, preferably within the financial services industry.</li><li>Experience working at consumer lending companies in the U.S. is a plus.</li></ul><p>Ready to apply your fraud strategy expertise to make a real impact?
