Job Description:
The position holder is responsible for the complete management of mold manufacturing projects and for ensuring the quality of the produced rubber parts in a manufacturing environment. Their main mission is to coordinate technical, logistical, and quality-related stages to ensure customer satisfaction, adherence to deadlines, compliance with requirements, and process optimization. Through this cross-functional role, they directly contribute to continuous improvement, operational performance, and the company’s reputation with both internal and external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning

Define technical requirements with internal/external clients.

Develop the mold and rubber parts specifications.

Establish development timelines (design, manufacturing, testing).
2. Design and Development

Oversee mold manufacturing in-house or through external suppliers.

Manage design iterations until final approval.
3. Production Follow-Up

Coordinate mold and initial part production.

Validate molding tests: dimensions, tolerances, physical properties.

Identify necessary adjustments (mold changes, production parameters).
4. Cross-Department Coordination

Serve as a liaison between production, quality, purchasing, and engineering.

Participate in production and product development meetings.

Coordinate raw material supply for testing.
5. Quality Control and Documentation

Ensure part compliance with specifications.

Perform quality control inspections.

Document non-conformities and participate in root cause analysis.

Prepare validation reports, process sheets, and procedures.
6. Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities to optimize molds or molding processes.

Participate in mold standardization and best practice sharing.
7. Client/Supplier Relations

Interact with clients for prototype and initial series validation.

Manage communications with subcontractors regarding lead times, costs, and modifications.
