Keep Thermon abreast of the latest industry trends and recommend responsive actions.</p><p><br /></p><p>What You Bring</p><p><br /></p><p>·  5+ years hands on experience in Material Science research and development.</p><p>·  Strong understanding of Material Science lab processes: sample preparation, optical microscopy.</p><p>· Familiarity with Design of Experiments methodologies to optimize compositions and processing parameters, enabling data-driven decision making.</p><p>·  Experience in new product development using a structured stage-gate process from concept through commercialization.</p><p>·  Strong understanding of project management principles, risk assessment, and go/no-go decision-making.</p><p>·   Fundamental working knowledge of electric heating technology.</p><p>·   Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to apply scientific principles to address complex challenges.</p><p>·   Minimum Bachelor’s degree in <span >Mechanical/Material</span> Science.</p><p><br /></p><p>Bonus Points For</p><p><br /></p><p>·  Familiarity with material electric insulating characteristics, failure mechanisms and testing methodologies:  Partial discharge, capacitance, dielectric withstand.</p><p>·  Experience in polymer science.  Specifically thermosetting polymers.</p><p>·  Direct experience with electric heating equipment.</p><p>·  Professional Engineering certification.</p></p>Company Description<p>Our client is a world leader in developing heating systems for the Energy sector.</p></p><h3>Company Description</h3><p>Our client is a world leader in developing heating systems for the Energy sector.</p>
