Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Technical / Development Team Lead
BDO Canada is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Technical / Development Team Lead to join our Solution Operations (Managed Services) Practice. The role can be based anywhere in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Microsoft Dynamics systems to meet business needs.
- Accountable for development related to software enhancements, extensions, defect corrections, and integration of features in Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions across technologies.
- Leverage the D365 F&O technology stack and peripheral technologies such as Azure, Azure SQL, Power BI, Common Data Service, Power Apps, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Machine Learning, etc.
- Take a user‑centered approach and rapidly iterate.

Experience and Education
- 5+ years of Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations development experience, ideally with a consulting firm working with external clients.
- Ability to mentor/coach junior developers.
- Advanced development skills using X++.
- Establish and apply development best practices.
- Knowledge of two or more technologies: Azure, Power Apps, SSRS, SQL, C#/.NET.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, TFVC, VSTS, JSON, OData, SOAP, REST, Azure Logic Apps (asset).
- Hands‑on experience in Lifecycle Services (LCS).
- Preferred: knowledge of Azure Data Lake and DIXF (Data Integration Framework).
