We are looking for a Front-End Developer specialised with Angular for one of our clients, an investment bank set in Montreal
Role Overview :
The team manages information systems for P&L calculation, bookkeeping, and risk indicators.
The team oversees Liquidity risk, Asset & Liabilities management (ALM) systems with locations in New York, Chicago, and Montreal.
The application aids in data preparation for risk reporting, featuring an Angular-based front-end.

Key responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to :
• Designing and constructing the front-end interface.
• Establishing the architecture for new web developments.
• Overseeing initiatives from initiation to completion, involving collaboration with users and business analysts to understand needs, proposing designs, implementing projects, reviewing system architecture, estimating effort, and ensuring timely delivery.
• Upholding agile and continuous delivery methodologies, ensuring well-tested and automated code.
• Adhering to release/change management processes and taking responsibility for 2nd and 3rd level support.
• Assisting the support team in release rollouts, providing clear reports to clients and management.
• Assessing risks and devising contingency strategies.
• Collaborating with various teams, including networking, systems, quality assurance, support, architects, and other development teams.
• Leveraging IT best practices to enhance development quality.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Must Have:
• 5+ years of experience
• Previous significant experience as Angular web developer.
• Successful front-end implementation of complex applications.
• Deep understanding of Angular design patterns.
• Code Reviews.
• Define good practices and coding rules.
• Git Version control.
• Working in an Agile development team.
• Commonly used design patterns and multi-threading.
Nice to have :
• Other object-oriented design languages and methodologies (Java, C#, C/C++).
• Test automation tools.
• MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.
