We are looking for a C#, SSIS and Power BI Developer for one of our clients, an investment bank set in Montreal
Role Overview :
The team manages the information system for capital markets activities (pre-trade, post-trade, risks).
The team covers application support, maintenance, and development of the application information system.
The team focuses on managing the tools associated with the various processes of the Middle and Back Office business teams
The candidate will ensure the follow up and agility of technological environments, and their proper integration with all components of the information system, in accordance with the bank’s security policy.
The team teams develops new features and improves existing ones.
You encourage initiative and innovation within the team while ensuring compliance with standards and design.
Key responsabilities :
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to :
Application development by continually optimizing performance and ensuring stability:
• Technical specifications
• Development of new features
• Documentation (confluence wiki)
• Participation in UATs with business users
• Production and operating procedure
• Participation in production
• Level 3 support
Guarantee the technical quality as well as the maintainability of the applications developed:
• Promote continuous improvement of our software based on agility, Software Craftsmanship and SecDevOps
• Promote systematic testing practices (TDD / BDD / DDD)
Required Qualifications and Skills:
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience using C# .NET
• Experience using SSIS, Dos scripting, Ansible, Gitlab and Microsoft Power BI
• Experience using SQL
• Experience developing web services – REST APIs
• Experience of designing and developing application and unit test
• Experience writing documentations
• Experience using DevOps tools (GitOps, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience using messaging and monitoring – alerting tools as ElasticSearch and Kibana
