Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Security Personnel to provide a safe and supportive environment within our client's facility. This role involves monitoring and assisting individuals during times of crisis, ensuring safety for all staff and clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a calm demeanor, and a commitment to de-escalation techniques. Prior experience or training in crisis intervention is preferred to better support diverse populations.
Duties
- Monitor and observe youth and adults to identify signs of distress or escalating behavior
- Implement non-violent crisis intervention techniques to de-escalate situations effectively
- Provide support and reassurance to individuals experiencing emotional or behavioral crises
- Collaborate with mental health professionals and staff to develop appropriate intervention strategies
- Maintain detailed documentation of incidents and interventions performed
- Ensure the safety and security of all individuals within the facility at all times
- Participate in ongoing training related to crisis management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
