Job Description
We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our growing home care team. As a PSW, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence, comfort, and quality of life. This role is ideal for professionals who take pride in making a meaningful difference every day.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support clients with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and social engagement
- Follow individualized care plans and communicate changes in condition to supervisors
- Maintain accurate daily documentation and uphold client confidentiality
- Promote a safe and respectful environment for all clients
Qualifications
- Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate (or equivalent training/experience)
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
- Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Experience working with injured people, seniors, persons with disabilities, or in community/home settings preferred
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between clients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
