Planner Estimator – Manufacturing
Full-Time.

We are seeking a skilled **Planner Estimator** to join our manufacturing team. This dual-role position is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and developing detailed production schedules, ensuring projects are both profitable and delivered on time.

What You'll Do:
Estimating:
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine scope.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, tooling, and outside services.
  • Collaborate with procurement to source competitive materials and services.
  • Identify potential financial risks.



Planning & Scheduling:
  • Create and maintain production schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate workflows across production, engineering, and supply chain.
  • Monitor progress, resolve issues, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop regular reports on production status, performance, and budgets.


What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related field (preferred).
  • 3–5 years' experience in estimating and/or production planning within manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Office (Excel), and familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD is a plus).
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD\&T.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.


Work Environment:
Primarily office-based with occasional shop visits to monitor progress and gather information.

Working Hours: 6:30AM to 3:00PM Monday thru Thursday and 6:30AM to 2:10PM.
 
Compensation & Benefits:
Fair market wage bases on skills and experience. Corporate medical and dental plan after 3 months. Vacation, Tool and Boot allowance and Sick Benefits all based on accrued bases after probationary periods.
