With your extensive knowledge and expertise in prepress operations, you will be responsible for handling various types of jobs, including flats with dieline and die-cutting, books and multi-page signatures, and flexographic for roll-to-roll printing. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare printing jobs for production, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
  • Handle jobs related to flats with dieline and die-cutting, books and multi-page signatures, and flexographic for roll-to-roll printing.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of XML, PDF, Color, Dot Screens, and other technical languages for prepress operations.
  • Demonstrate superior expertise with Adobe products, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign.
  • Imposing and creating colour separations and plate output to achieve exceptional print quality.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of projects.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Prepress Technician in a fast-paced printing environment.
  • Proficient in preparing various types of printing jobs, including flats, books, and flexographic printing.
  • Exceptional knowledge and proficiency in Adobe products, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign.
  • Experience with imposing and creating color separations and plate output.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Ability to calculate the cost of production  between various output devices to meet tight deadline.
  • Experience with working with Imposing applications such as Tilia Labs, Prinect, Metrix.
