We’re looking for a Procurement Technician to support strategic purchasing initiatives for a respected public-sector organization.
This is a long-term hybrid contract position (2 days remote/week) offering great work-life balance, strong benefits, and meaningful impact.Responsibilities:- Conduct research on services, products, and laws related to procurement needs- Support the coordination and planning of the membership campaign- Prepare project timelines to meet contract deadlines- Draft procurement documents including tenders, annexes, tables, and forms- Post procurement calls on SEAO and draft any required addenda- Participate in the administrative and technical compliance analysis of bids- Assist in preparing documentation for contract awards- Provide post-sale support and guidance to members, helping resolve issues- Prepare periodic reports on performance metrics for products and services- Contribute to the development of new products and services- Collaborate on content creation for web, newsletters, and publications- Support ongoing supplier relationship management- Participate in market monitoring to ensure fair and competitive practicesQualifications:- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in procurement or a similar role, ideally in the municipal or public sector (an asset)- DEC in administration or other relevant training- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitudeReady to Apply?.
