On behalf of our downtown client, we are seeking a Program Manager to support a key initiative focused on maintaining exceptional standards within healthcare services.
This role is responsible for overseeing quality and compliance activities specifically within non-hospital surgical facilities. The Program Manager will provide leadership to a team that conducts assessments, manages the full accreditation cycle, and supports ongoing quality improvement within the program area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day program operations, including business planning, budgeting, and administration of programs.
- Provide support to the advisory committee and collaborate with provincial and national partners to ensure accreditation tools and standards meet sector needs.
- Coordinate and maintain the full processes, including information gathering, assessment scheduling, communication with facilities and medical leadership, and preparation of assessment documentation.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping, database maintenance, and alignment of processes with best practices and regulatory standards.
- Support quality improvement initiatives, educational activities, and reportable incident reviews.
- Recruit, train, and oversee staff; provide leadership, guidance, and performance management for program team members.
- Serve as a key liaison with external stakeholders to support program outreach and educational initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 8 years of experience, including project management and leadership experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and business-writing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant IT applications.
- Strong knowledge of quality management, accreditation processes, healthcare operations.
- Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
