We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the lighting industry. In this role, you will oversee and manage lighting projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, and are completed on time and within budget. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, estimating, accounting and sales, to drive project success in our cutting-edge lighting solutions.
Duties:
Develop and implement project plans that align with the company’s strategic goals, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables specific to lighting projects.
Coordinate with stakeholders, such as lighting designers, architects, and contractors, to identify project requirements and expectations.
Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring tasks such as product development, prototyping, and installations are completed on time.
Monitor project progress and anticipate potential challenges, implementing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
Conduct regular project status meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders, providing clear and actionable updates.
Manage project budgets, track expenses, and report on financial performance to ensure projects remain profitable.
Lead and mentor project teams, offering guidance, support, and motivation to ensure successful project delivery.
Foster effective communication among team members, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.
Apply industry-recognized project management methodologies to manage complex lighting projects.
Collect and analyze project data, including performance metrics, to drive continuous improvement and innovation in future projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies and experience applying them within the lighting or construction industries.
Strong project planning and scheduling skills, with experience managing timelines for product development and installation in the lighting industry.
Excellent attention to detail
Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills, particularly in navigating client and supplier relationships.
University level education is an asset
