Property Accountant - 3 months Employment Type Contract Location Woodbridge, Ontario Apply SHARE THIS JOB Job Description: The Property Accountant will be responsible for the following:Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and variance analyses for commercial properties.
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Perform CAM (Common Area Maintenance) and Tax recovery calculations, reconciliations, and adjustments.
Utilize Yardi ERP to maintain property accounting records, generate reports, and analyze financial data.
Assist with year-end audit processes, working closely with auditors and internal stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, lease agreements, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with property managers, finance teams, and senior leadership to optimize financial performance TMGCT Job Requirements: Minimum of 4 years of commercial property accounting experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in Newstar (preferred) and Yardi required.
Advanced Excel skills required
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with CAM & Tax recoveries.
Experience in managing year-end accounting processes and audits.
CPA designation (or in progress) is preferred but not required.
