Position: Purchasing CoordinatorLocation: Downtown Montreal – On-Site, 5 Days/WeekSalary: Up to $60K Based on Experience + BenefitsAre you a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a passion for purchasing and supply chain operations?. We’re looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to join a dynamic manufacturing company located in downtown Montreal.
This full-time, on-site role is a great opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a solid foundation in procurement processes to grow in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.Responsibilities:- Convert internal purchase requests into accurate and timely purchase orders- Confirm order details with suppliers including pricing, quantities, and lead times- Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to maintain optimal stock levels- Track open orders and update ERP systems with delivery timelines- Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate pricing when needed- Support the Quality Control team in managing material quality issues and returns- Match invoices with POs and delivery documentation; assist with payment resolutions- Maintain accurate purchasing records, reports, and supplier documentation- Generate reports on supplier performance, purchasing activity, and cost trends- Collaborate with operations, production, and finance to align purchasing with business needsWhat you bring to the table:- 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain coordination- Background in manufacturing or retail preferred (or a strong application from another industry)- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts)- Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems is highly preferred- Basic understanding of financial principles related to purchasing and costingReady to bring your skills to a growing team and make an impact?Apply today to take the next step in your purchasing career with a company that values precision, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Please send your CV ASAP to Alessandra.Dipeco@quantum.ca.
